Moving On

Our stay in Summerdale has come to an end.  We will be heading to Tallahassee in the morning.  We really like this Escapees park and are sad to leave.  We will especially miss the social activities--meals, the 4 o’clock hour, chatting with the neighbors.  I think we have pretty much decided to come back here next winter for several weeks, maybe even a couple months.

Norm and Linda
Last evening, we had a wonderful time with friends.  Norm and Linda gave us the grand tour of their beautiful new home.  It was great to have a couple hours to visit with them and Don and Gloria. We first met these fine folks last winter when we were here.  It was good to see them again.  Our new friends, Mike and Gerri, were also there.  We expect to see a lot more of them as our paths cross.  The conversation, naturally, revolved around RV experiences.  Of course, the stuff that pops in your mind most often are the near disasters.  It’s easy for us to laugh about them now and boy did we laugh.  Norm and Linda especially kept us in stitches.  With 10 years of full-timing experiences, they have some stories.  Thanks, guys, for a wonderful evening.
Judi and Gerri
Today has been spent in preparations for moving, grocery shopping, and laundry.  Tomorrow, we will head to Tallahassee, about a 200 mile drive, where we’ll stay for 5 or 6 days before going to Saint Augustine.
