The End of one Journey and On To Something New

Today brings to a close several months with a family focus.  As wonderful as it has been, we are anxious to get started on our next big adventure.  When we hitch up and pull out in the morning, we will turn south on I-75 and head to Florida where we will make a left turn onto I-10 and seek out our winter destination—the great state of Texas.

As is our practice, we will take it nice and easy, stopping to see a few places on the way.  We have not been to Mobile or Gulf Shores so we plan to spend several days in those areas.  We want to work our way down the Gulf coast of Texas exploring South Padre Island, McAllen, and Brownsville.  Of course, we have no definite itinerary; we’re just wandering and exploring.  The next scheduled appointment on our calendar is the national RV rally in Albuquerque in April.

For family and friends, this is our way of keeping you abreast of our whereabouts and what we’re up to.  For RVers, wannabe RVers, and other travelers, we hope our “on the road” experiences (both good and bad) are helpful and inspiring as you explore this great country we call home.
